It took Dick and Jane several years to realize they had more fun driving a tractor than boating on the Chesapeake Bay. Once avid boaters, they had a 32-foot Sea Ray, a 19-foot Chaparral, and a couple of jet skis.

The need to manage an 8.5-acre lot grew beyond a John Deere Gator and a 3032E Tractor. Dick recognized that only cutting fallen logs into firewood wasn’t the answer. While watching ‘tractor-porn’ on YouTube, a Wood-Mizer commercial caught his interest. After that, all Jane heard in the evenings was the buzz of sawmills as Dick determined what make a model would best fit their need.

February 2019, it was time to pick up their LT35 Wood-Mizer portable sawmill. Jane videoed the training session, and Dick produced On the Pond with Dick and Jane’s first video, Deliver Day-WoodMizer LT35.
